Your Number One Quality

THE MESSAGE

Hello. I want to get straight into my message for all those that may read my words in your future. I want to mention a quality that all intelligent life forms should be aware of in every minute of their lives. The word is Integrity.
There are fewer, if any, other qualities of a person’s characteristics with more importance than that of having integrity. That one word says so much about a person and is not easily faked. To know someone with 100% integrity is to know a special person. But note I said 100%, not 50% or 80% or even 90%. Integrity has to be 100%. Pure gold is pure gold. Nothing else added, just pure gold. The same is so for having integrity. Part-time integrity is of no value.
Being and displaying integrity only when it suits a person is not a sign of a person with integrity. It’s a sign of a weak and shallow person. Being true to your word is a quality that serves a person well in life. Integrity partners with reliability and trust automatically. Having integrity therefore means so much more, and matters.
Every one of us love to be around such people. Their energy comes with positivity. They are honest from the off. If they can’t do something, or don’t want to because of negative reasons, they’ll say so and will stand by their integrity. It needs protecting and those with it will not do anything to effect their integrity.
Don’t confuse this with egotistical habits. The two are opposites. A person displaying integrity across all actions and decisions in their lives are not aware of their ego. Those that stroke their own egos too much are showing signs that integrity isn’t present as much as it should be in their lives.
The person with integrity can be relied on. If they say they will do something, it will be so. They turn up for appointments in ample time, hating to be late. It matters to them. It is part of their word, their integrity.
Here is a frightening exercise for you to do this day. Make a note of all the people you know that have true integrity, that can be relied on, that don’t tell lies, that never back-talk others.
I would hazard a guess that your list would be fewer than you might have thought. I would go so far as to say the list would be fewer than the fingers on your one hand. You may even fail the exercise in not being able to suggest one name for the list. Am I right?
But think about that exercise again. Do you know what the first name should have been on that list? Think? Why didn’t you consider yourself as a person with integrity? I have one more exercise for you to do after you’ve read these words.
Go find a dictionary, or a thesaurus and look up the word. Steel is not steel if other compounds are added to it. The integrity matters for strength, lasting strength. The same is so for people too.
May I press on you that you move integrity to the top of your daily plans. Whenever and wherever you can, work on your integrity. Became greater and stronger for it. A person with integrity displays an unbreakable strength of character. Your life is a journey of growth, of change and of improvement. Let your integrity shine the light ahead and never ever risk losing it.
Have I helped you this day? Have I given you something to be thinking about?
Excellent. My message is now set in words that cannot be erased from your mind.
God be with you always.
Goodbye.
