Why Basics Are Important

THE MESSAGE

Good day my friend. Your body is hot, reflecting your climate at this time. It can affect how clear your energy appears to us, but you’re good at this moment.
One of the topics I wanted to mention, is something that has been covered many times before by previous speakers. And it will continue to be talked about a lot into the future. It is about doing the basics.
You’ve always quoted the phrase of not short-cutting a short cut. Yet, you do it more than you realise. The meaning of the phrase is contained in the word ‘basics’. It means, the most basic. In other words, the shortest or quickest method. But don’t worry my friend, its not just you. It is common with all people.
You learn the basics, and then over time you omit parts of the basics, because you think whatever you’re doing, or intending to do, well still work. Yes, sometimes that might be the case. But the strength of the routine has been weakened by omitting part of the basics.
May I use you as an example? You have learned over your time of studying how to recognise our connection to you. This occurred because you carried out the basics. You call this your routine or ritual. But more often than you should, you omit parts of that routine.
Today, for example, you only spent a few moments in preparation. You rushed through the prayer and didn’t focus on what you were saying. Your time building the power was very short. Too short if I’m honest.
Ok so I was loud and strong, but not every connection will be like that, and because you hadn’t built the power, you might well have missed anyone else trying to connect with you. All because you skipped through the basics too quickly.
Now, I’ve used you as the example, but many people who will read these words are doing the same actions in their mediumship, and then wondering why their spirit connection isn’t so obvious. They often end up
telling themselves off and getting depressed over it. The original cause of their problem was because they skipped, or diluted their basics.
The basics are the main heart of this work. Everything else is flavouring or decoration.
When you sit with your notepad in your next session be warned. I will instruct the next speaker to be more timid and only connect when you have built your power to a better level. I know, I’m cruel. But sometimes we have to be cruel to be kind.
It’s not enough to learn the basics. They must be carried out every single time. This is how your standards improve, by always carrying out the basics properly, every single time.
Not just you my friend, but everyone that reads my words should take my message to heart and review how they are carrying out the basics. Do them well, or better still, do them more and for longer.
