Widow of Derek Acorah
Gwen Acorah Johnson is widowed wife of the late Derek Acorah who passed to spirit in early 2021 with suspected covid. Derek was one of the most well-known mediums in the UK, appearing regularly on screens. Gwen has been in the background working with Derek throughout their married life together.
Both were (and Gwen still is) patreons of the PATHFINDERS DOGS charity, training dogs for the blind. She continues this work with passion. Gwen was invited to the Spirited Talk studio to record her story. During her interview, she shared the story of her life, including when and how she met Derek, the rise of his fame, and what Derek was really like behind closed doors.
Gwen is a truly grounded lady who continues to represent the legacy of Derek while learning to live life without him.
