THE MESSAGE

You can begin, I am ready too. I got your attention by admiring the music playing in your ears. Very good, without being distracting.
Your speakers recently have been rather hard-balling with you. I’m not going to take that stance. I’m here to fill you, and those reading my words, with hope.
My name was Sylvia, though often called “Sylvo”. I lived on earth until the later years of last century. I was a medium on earth and a healer at my local church. Things were a lot different then too. Much simpler without all the needs for so many rules and regulations like you have today.
A group of us used to meet up at the church hall every Tuesday without fail. We did healing on each other and enjoyed it. Results were often quite noticeable. We listened to a cassette while we meditated. Even that was simpler than it has been made today. We just closed our eyes and let the music take us wherever we wanted. It was in the power as you call it nowadays, but less emphasis was put on instructions. We’d finish our sessions with a few readings and a chat about things coming up.
They were enjoyable days and every one of us looked forward to the morning away from working at home. I was 72 when I passed, thankfully peacefully and most unexpected. I’d had a headache the night before and went to bed early. I was not to know that they would come and take me before I woke in the morning. Must have been a shock for those I left behind. But as humans at ways do, they got over the anguish and upset and just got on with their lives.
My daughter was the one most effected by it. She was always my best friend, and still is, truth be known. I try to keep a watch on what she and her family are up to. The children are all grown up’s now and she’s now passed the age I was. So she beat me on that one!
Life on earth is indeed precious and no matter what your personal circumstances are, there is always something worthy of your appreciation. If its not just the birds in the trees, the morning dew, the smell of the rain, or the sound from a crackling fire in the drawing room. Of course I miss some of those physical things about life on earth, but on balance, I prefer it here more. It’s like I would have imagined emigrating to be, to Australia or some far off land I never got to witness myself.
In many ways life here is not just better, its easier too. I never want for anything and have no need for the countless pills I used to have to take.
I always knew there was a better life to follow. I had no doubts. And it surpassed anything I could have even imagined.
So my dear friends, my message to you would be the same as one of your previous speakers. To enjoy your life to the fullest and not worry about what follows. It is as you’d expect it to be, and more.
My daughter became a medium and I am allowed to work with her every time she needs it.
I’d better end this message to you all. Thank you for taking your time to read my words and bringing them to life.
