Is there such an experience as silence?
You wrote an article about the power of silence earlier. Very interesting to a point.
Silence does not exist in the sense of a place without noise, as you consider it. Your interpretation of silence was based on your limitations within the sphere of sound you can hear with your limited ears.
The world, however, is never silent. Even the rotation of the planet itself creates a vibrational sound that instruments beyond your hearing range could easily pick up. Sorry, but sound creation and recording was my trade when I lived a life on earth.
Thankfully, when I came near I was able to continue that work with far reaching instruments you couldn’t even imagine. On earth I worked with reel-to-reel broadcast quality recorders. Compared with the equipment I have at hand here, they were very limited.
My machinery now can record sounds, voices and much more from what you call miles away and with a clarity that has no degradation from the original. Why, you might ask, would we need such complex equipment here?
Well you’ve been told thousands of times that life here is no different a life than on earth. The difference is only in the endless possibilities at our disposal.
Do you know, for fun, I can record a ‘moment of time’, replay it, and it’s as real as when it happened. No media to store it, just the machine to capture and recreate it. Video and even your hi-tec holograms are so outdated compared with the facilities I have access to.
As you now term people like me, I am a geek of this stuff and it makes me so happy to be privileged to working with equipment that is light years away from being invented on earth. Here, I work with a team of scientists and chemists exploring and creating things to make life even better than it is.
I am working with, or through, as you prefer to think of it, with a scientific explorer in Silicon Valley, and through a chemist in India. These people are pure geniuses and I’ve been able to send pointers to some of their individual works still being built.
You have no concept of the possibilities if one day our two worlds were able to work together. Such a bridge is being worked on as I speak. But it’s one thing with us coming up with the solution, it’s another, trying to work with the limited resources on earth.
I could talk to you all day and night but I mustn’t. There are things you mustn’t yet know and things that are devoid of any sensible explanation in your limited frame of thinking. Most people here do choose to continue to work in the field they were working on earth. They don’t have to, but they choose to. Isn’t that something?
Now, I’ve said enough and the power that connects us is limited and you must go. One day soon I will return and talk more on this topic, if I’m allowed to!
