THE MESSAGE

Why do people always think that life for spirit people must be boring? It’s not. Let me tell you, I fulfil my mind with so much more than I did when I was on earth. And believe me, we have so much fun and laughter here.
There is a connection between fun and laughter and love. While we’re happy and enjoying amusing conversations, we’re bonding in the energy of love. On earth, you never hear of fights breaking out at comedy venues, now do you? Laughter is uplifting for our spirits, and is like food to our souls. We know that you’ve used humour a lot when you are connecting with this side, and although you may not have realised it, the humour helps the vibrations, the energy, or whatever you want to refer to is as, to move more freely, like thin air, you might say.
When you’re happy, you’ll see and experience the lighter energy of humour more freely. You can recall experiences from your own life, I am sure, when you had occasion to laugh so much it hurt you. Yet a few hours later and that what made you laugh before, no longer seems funny. And often, you’ll wonder why even though it was funny in the first place. That’s because the energy of humour is so different than your ordinary energy.
I know that you have been told by your mentors that us spirit people like a sense of humour, and that is so very true. Have you noticed how miserable people hate being around happy people sometimes? It’s because their energies are entirely different and therefore in conflict.
It is hard for us here to be unhappy. Unhappy energy is heavy, whereas happy energy is so light. To be miserable here would be like wearing a suit made of lead, and who wants to do that! I would say that we aren’t walking around laughing all the time here, that would be ridiculous to suggest. But our outlooks are more upbeat here and so there is rarely a reason to wear that lead suit.
Our humour here is slightly different than yours also. There is no point telling a joke here - everybody thinks the punchline before the gag is complete. Our happiness is more based on our newfound outlook, our contentment for being in this wonderful place. Our happiness often starts from the realisation that we do live on, after our body has given up. But I won’t talk to you about the time of crossing, that for another day perhaps...
