THE MESSAGE

Transcribed on 23rd September 2025 @ 3:50pm

Hello and good day to you. All good things must come to an end, I heard you say earlier. I’ve never aligned myself with that phrase. Everything is good, and some things are gooder! Just reflecting my sense of humour there!

Life is a journey that we’re all part of for a very long time. The path has twists and turns, bumps along the way, and landscapes that vary with the seasons and situations. I’ve never felt the need to eliminate any part of it in favour of the straight and smooth bits. That, to me, sounds a recipe for boredom.

I’ve always believed that every moment of my life is an integral part of the tapestry that is my life. I get some choice, as you do, in what journey life takes me on. These are my choices. so how silly of me to feel a need to complain.

You were referring to your extended holiday on that island, I know that. And I know that you’ll come back again soon. Your mind shows you’re already began your mental adjustments in preparation for returning home, and I’m aware you’ve put some thought into the positive aspects of it also. This is a good tactic, similar to the way I viewed things when I was in that life phase.

Shifting focus from the present one, to the forthcoming one is a method for levelling the bumps, to use my journey cliche from earlier. A good method, though keep a balance of thought to the here and now. I mean, you’ve still got a number a days there remaining, and much can still happen.

I think more people should use that method. The bad days are temporary, so focus beyond them while you journey through them. Life, as is most things really, is transient, an event moving experience with changing elements that we are equipped with the means to deal with.

When this day does end, allow yourself the moments to reflect and appreciate the experiences that are now part of your path. What made you laugh today? What new person did you meet? What lesson did you learn? What new word have you heard? What was the best aspect of the weather, the plants, the animals? What food did you eat that you’ll remember? What was the nicest words from your closest person you were with today?

You see, when you view this day and every next day, with those questions in mind, all good things don’t have to come to an end. All good things can, and do, happen every day. Every day is as valuable, as rich, as important as the last and the next.

Thank you for writing my words. There concludes my goodest lesson!

Bye bye.
