The Dirty Water Analogy

THE MESSAGE

Hello to you. I heard your mind suggesting a speaker with a message for all new and established mediums. will accommodate you with a story you should remember.
There was this person who had a kitchen with one tap in it. The tap was for water. Whenever this person turned the tap on, nothing came out of it. So they would try once and turn it off and forget about it.
This went on for days, weeks and months. The person tried every day with the tap for a minute, then gave up. Some months later this person met with a plumber casually. He mentioned the tap with no water to the plumber.
The plumber said, “ I know you are connected to the water pipe, so the problem is likely to be you. What are you doing?”
The person replied.” I turned the tap on and nothing happens, so I turn it off and come back another time, usually the next day”.
“ How long after you turn it on do you wait?” asked the plumber.
“ Well, I turn it on and nothing comes out of the tap, so I turn it off. Probably about 30 seconds or so give or take”.
The plumber gave him the answer to his problem. He suggested he turn the tap on and listen for however long it takes and eventually the water would come through.
The man returned home, and suspecting the plumber was wrong, he went to his tap, turned it on and listened. Nothing heard. But he did as the plumber suggested and kept listening for a minute or longer. Suddenly he heard gurgling sounds coming from the tap, still no water, just air and this gurgling noise.
The noise became increasingly louder, until he decided best to move away from the tap. Suddenly, dirty liquid started dripping from the tap in increasing amounts. The gurgling got louder and the muddy liquid increase in amount. The flow became faster, at first dirty muddy slimy water.
He left the tap on, thinking it might get better, and he was correct. A whole ten minutes passed before the water started to become clearer. He was so excited. He has water, now clear and cool.
The plumber had told him that the water may be cloudy at first for a few days, but would eventually flow clear and perfect for drinking every time.
That’s the story to remember. You are that man, that person wanting water, only in your case you want to hear our communications with you. When you metaphorically turn the tap on, it may be muddy water at first. When you listen for us, you may hear muddled and nonsense words in your mind that make no sense. Think of us like the orchestra in the pit in a theatre when tuning up. Never music at first, never clear water immediately. But you must keep the tap open. You must keep your flow open by talking.
Create the flow and expect muddy messages at first. It is in these moments that our connection is getting stronger and establishing our link.
The tap, your tap, must be on, must be open, like your mouth, expressing whatever comes to mind. So what if it’s nonsense at first. Be patient, keep the flow going and the messages will become clearer.
That’s the secret of mediumship. Avoid filters on your tap. Just let it flow and it will become clear, given time. Of course, if you still struggle, go back to your teacher and leader and ask “How do I connect to the mains? What do I need to do to make such I’m connecting correctly?”
Patience and consistency are your friends.
