Can I Teach Mediumship?

THE MESSAGE

Good day to you. Hope I find you well. For this session, I would like to address a few questions you’ve had in your mind for a while, and I suspect you’d like me to give my opinions.
The first question is concerning your amount of sleep you’ve been having since being back in your favourite place. Let me explain, tiredness is quite a difficult ailment to physically judge. There is more to being tired than yawning and feeling it. That is only one of many ways your body expresses it. When your body tires, the organs, skin and even blood take on the symptoms. Yes blood can get tired, or stressed you might say. Most people think that a few good nights will solve it, but that is not always so.
The type of holiday you are on now, where you’re not planning ahead and have reduced your work is giving your sub-conscious mind the opportunity to allow all of the elements of your body to release stresses, strains and the like, associated with tiredness. So my advice is, if you feel tired when you’re on holiday, take the opportunity to allow your body to rest. Is that clear?
Now, your second question that you’ve been mulling over for weeks is regarding whether you should or shouldn’t write teaching mediumship material for your website.
It would appear you have reached a conclusion. You feel that you shouldn’t, and you also believe pure mediumship is a natural talent not requiring techniques to get started.
My apologies for making you write word for word, and I hear your mind trying to chip in to correct me. The exact wording doesn’t matter. Let me give you mine, and my friends here, opinion on such a matter.
You have to understand that you have spent many years honing your abilities to connect with our world. It wasn’t always like that though was it? For many of your years you didn’t even believe you had any connection. It wasn’t that there wasn’t one, It was a case that you were not in a state of awareness to appreciate it.
Your doubts were always undermining your abilities. But once that acceptance was made, communications flowed, such as this one. Ask yourself this; could you have reached that level of acceptance without the help, coaxing, guidance and support you received from your mentors? You know the answer!
So now go back and reconsider your question again. It goes almost without me having to tell you that teachers are essential for all students of this work. Of course quality matters, but as you found out only too well, a student will outgrow the teacher if they [the teacher] are not advancing themselves as well as their students. So you move on, as you often did, and find the teacher suited for your needs.
As you well know, students need to be tested and that is something that groups can encourage. At this time, you are taking a lot of your unfoldment needs direct from us. That would not have been possible, or wise, for you through your early years. And I must say, you should allow your mediumship to be tested, even though you’ve stepped back from it.
So, yes mediumship can be taught to a point where the student has a regular connection with the spirit world. After that, deeper and more intense specific training is required.
