THE MESSAGE

Transcribed on 21st September 2024 @ 5:10 pm

Yes, please write my words I just shared with you. Part of your re-disciplining is with your thoughts. You decided to sit for more messages and then spent several minutes thinking about what the subject might be. You’ve forgotten that it is for us to decide, not you. Please do as you’ve always done and come only with your pen and an open mind.

My topic today is one you would not have thought to consider, and it is on the topic of defining trust.

Everyone has a notion of what trust means to them, but not so many put that into practice. Trust is a big word that’s always being discussed amongst mediums such as yourself. But what really is trust in mediumship and how can you encapsulate it in your work?

Trust is a relationship. Trust is a knowing, and an understanding. Trust is the oil for the engine, if you want to animate it. To work without trust is to work with doubt, with disbelief, with an unsureness of what it is you do. Faith alone is not enough.

Let us look at the relationship. Two parties in unison. Side by side, responding in harmony. Trust isn’t questioned – it just is. Without trust, there can be no relationship.

When we connect to communicate with you, or someone else on earth, we do it with absolute trust in our words and our connection. But if you, the medium, hesitates, doubts, judges, filters, amends, withholds those words, it is you that rejects the trust. Maybe it’s not intentional, and maybe it’s because of your other faculty’s ruling. But whatever the reason, that trust is lost.

Trust is not something that can be turned on and off to suit. Trust is 100% all the time. To trust, yet to doubt simply means, I don’t trust. To trust yet to question simply means I don’t trust.

Trust is all-in or nothing. Let me test you, Trevor. Write the letters as I spell them. Remember to trust me. Don’t use your mind to complete the word. Listen, and write letter by letter:

B L A C K R O L D Y

How many of those letters did you allow your mind to conceive?

As soon as I gave you the C, you added the K.

Now, omit that K and replace it with another letter that will complete the correct word. Don’t do it now, we’re working. Do it later.

Now you can see how delicate the trust relationship can be. Mediums must always have 100% trust.

Of course, there are advanced mediums who have never needed to examine their trust. Why? Because their trust is unbreakable.

I hope I’ve made some sense today with you. Sometimes the learning takes effort, as you are fInding with your pursuit of the Spanish language.

The things you don’t know, the things you can’t do, are so because you’ve not taken the time to learn them. Trust in mediumship is one such pursuit that many people spend a lifetime learning.

I’m proud of you and your approach to this work. Remain the student. Consider my words today and embrace trust in your work. Don’t let outside influences affect the relationship of trust.

That is all for this session. Thank you for working with me.

Goodbye.
