THE MESSAGE

Transcribed on 22nd September 2025 @ 4:00pm

I got your signal and you mine. Let me begin by declaring what a wonderful time it is to be living. Everything to live for. All the beauty of nature, the skies, the stars. So much to be grateful for, don’t you think?

I hope you’ve realised, I’m talking about living, so it’s not just where you are on the solid plane. It includes living here amongst all the beauty, the wonders, the friends, family and bountiful delights we can experience every moment of our existence.

It makes one realise how short-sighted many people have become. Wrapped up in their own little existences, as if the world outside of theirs didn’t exist. They carry their hardship excuses like they’re an integral part of who they are, and lack the vision to see the world as it really is. They live an existence as if in a house with no windows. As you often say, “happy discontent”.

If life didn’t exist, what else would there be? Think about that for a moment. Life is everything that ever was and ever will be. And the best part of it is that you are part of it. All that is required of you is to embrace it. Swim in the energy that surrounds you.

Hey, I know. Some will say that is easier said than done. I ask you, is it? Is it so hard to admit that life is the most wonderful gift, the most fulfilling opportunity, the greatest way to exist. Yes, to exist, one must be living. Even in tough times, and we have all had them, there is always something to be grateful for. Always.

It is up to that individual to wake up and breath the beautiful free air, to drink the free water, to feed the eyes and ears with all the glories of God’s work around us.

I was always certain that my hard times on earth would pass, and they did. The grief I had when I lost my loved one was eased by the realisation they were still alive, in a world I would one day visit.

Crying is a useful mechanism for releasing negative pent-up emotions. So do it. knowing that everything you know as life, continues to exist and when the tears have dried up, there are a million reasons why a smile should appear on your face.

People might argue with me that my words are wishy-washy sentiments. But I ask them, are they? Why are they? Why are they my words and not yours? Why is your view of life so different to mine? Surely we strive for the same thing. Happiness, health and love. Just one of those is enough to appreciate life. Those missing can be created. It’s a matter of waking up and making choices. Perhaps different choices. Different choices take different directions, different scenery, different destinations.

I’m going to leave you with a thought, a frightening thought perhaps. If you’re not seeing life through clear lenses, change them. Your window to the world around you lies mainly in your control. What if there was no life after this one you’re living ended. Then what? Nothing? No existence? Is that what you really want. Thankfully, you know there is another life ahead of you. All the more reason to live this one to the fullest while you can.

I could celebrate the wonder of life all day with you. I’d convince you eventually to see what I see. But I can’t, that is down to you. Go find something beautiful, something colourful, something that makes you smile. And say thank you for being in my life.

You make it better.

Goodbye.
