Hello. Over the past few days, you have played a good role in your connection with us, and those messages you conveyed to your new friends. They came into your life as part of the bigger plan.

The way you handled the communications was commendable. Both Ian and Janie were in need of that knowing what you shared through the connection made. Janie’s mum was comfortable in knowing she had strong children to continue supporting the family. Her mum had wanted to speak to her for some while and you offered the perfect opportunity.

Ian’s parents live this side with so many regrets from their actions on earth. You became aware of those issues during the connection, but said only enough to reassure and comfort. Ian carries the burden through his life and, one day, will be free of the burden for good. Your reading offered him love and hope, and started the work that needs to be done.

Mediumship is indeed a marvellous gift, and you should be proud of how you use yours.

Many signs were sent your way, a few of which you noticed. Yes, the two parrots were a sign, though at that moment you hadn’t recognised it.

I’m glad you liked the two doves this morning. [feature photo above] They were sent by those that you relayed messages for. Since you’ve realised that, there is no great mystery or power between our two worlds. Your connections have been clearer and free-flowing.

I know how many emotions you have experienced over the past days, but that is only credit to your awareness. I know you don’t require gifts for the work you are doing, but be assured, one is on its way. Be proud of how far you have come and be excited about the journey ahead.

I know you don’t take praise easily and I’m aware how uncomfortable you are, writing my words. But may I finally say to your readers that the best way to improve your mediumship is to treat it with respect and as the great gift it is.

Yes, anyone can learn new skills, but it is only the very few that are enlightened to do so. Keep doing what you can each day to walk the straighter path and open yourself to the exciting emotions our work offers.

“Open thine eyes to the heavens that surround you. You are not alone, isolated on a planet. Instead, you are part of the whole of everything, that was, and is, and will be.”

Everything on earth, every atom, every molecule, were part of the creation you call the big bang. Every tiny part of your body has always been on this place you call earth. You are only unique in your spirit and soul. Your body is made from ingredients that have been used time and time again. You cannot be destroyed.

Your body may be returned to the earth when it has served its purpose, but every particle of it will continue to be present forever.

The opening lines I shared with you refer to the spirit and soul within you, always part of the greater source of all souls. Recognise that your time on earth wearing the body created for your needs is a mere microsecond of your entire existence. You carry the genes, the atoms and particles that came from your parents for generations back.

Parts of your chemistry were once together before this time, and when your spirit returns home, that chemistry will continue, and elements of you will remain together in another generational creation.

Your Bible suggests that God’s home has open doors and many mansions. The Divine will indeed await your return. The transition will be as quick as a blink of your eyes. You will return one day. Meanwhile, live a life that satisfies your soul’s desires and shines light on the Divine.

Hello.

The storms on the horizon offer warnings of impending weather changes. The colour and density of the clouds in the sky. The noises around you, such as the sounds of the songs from the birds and animals. The quantity of traffic on the roads within your earshot.

The sound of church bells, or rainfall on the window. The sounds from footsteps, or from workers busy with their tasks. Even in the midst of darkness, the air is filled with information for your senses to digest.

I could go on for many more minutes describing your environments and your opportunities to heighten your senses. But people have created this habit of ignoring so much of their surroundings, instead relying on just that, that appears important to their needs at that time.

Is it hardly any wonder that so much is missing from their daily lives. You are a sensitive, as are those that have chosen your path through life.

When you chose this way, had you realised that much of the information you might need was around you, and available all the time?

When you wake up, what information from your senses could tell you what day of the week it was? Why is this important? Because learning to appreciate your surroundings and the information that it gives, increases your opportunities to observe, and even detect sensations that are out of place.

When people this side of their life want to send a message to those on earth requiring it, they use what is available more often than not. But the communication often doesn’t reach the intended person, because they are unaware of that around them. They are only hearing, or seeing, or sensing that what suits their needs at that moment.

If you left space for more information, you would awaken your senses to a richer world, where information and communication would flow more freely. Sometimes people that want to improve their communications with our world, are trying to do so with only a fraction of each of their senses being used.

Ask yourself why some people can see auras while others cannot. Why some can hear the voices in their mind and others don’t. Why some only forward half of a communication , while others relay more details.

Part of that hidden or missing ability is due to their lack of focus on the information around them. May I address your reader for a moment?

Stop reading this and sit for a moment where you are. If there is a window, look through it. What do you see that you’ve never seen before? What sounds can you hear that you’ve never realised were there? What odours are around you?

Now, what words would your nearest and dearest in our world want to say to you this moment? Hear their voice as you remember it to be. See them dressed as they were. Make space in that room for them.

Is there a chair they could sit on with you now? Then invite them to. But use all your senses - you’re going to need them. Don’t just rely on your gut instinct, instead sense them. Truly sense them. If you invited them to come, then they will. It may only be for a fleeting moment, but they will be there.

Tomorrow brings a new day for you. Use it and get more from it. Observe like you’ve never done before. Take everything in and realise the richness of your world. Appreciate that in doing this, you are like the carpenter sharpening his tools. The sharper the tool, the better the job.

Hello.

There are many forces within what you consider as the universe. But, by the way, the universe is more finite than your science can possibly understand at this time in your history. Forces of varying types are everywhere. They are collectively known as the force of life, though there are many forces within this one.

You would do good as a student to use your own mind and knowledge to consider what forces you are aware of. I can hear your imagination screaming ‘gravity’ at me. Yes that is one such force. But there are many more such forces existing in your world. Some are combined forces while others work alone.

Let me ease your curiosity with an example of a combined force that you will be familiar with. Force one would be that force that works to keep two opposing magnets apart. But that one force is working with the force of gravity. That therefore is a combined force.

Use your own time to see how many forces you can list. I would be impressed if you could name a dozen, even though many more exist.

I share this with you so you can broaden your mind and accept there are many forces that we have here this side of the veil, that you don’t and won’t ever have. Again, as an example, the force of gravity does exist here, but we are able to control it. As we don’t have a mass and therefore don’t weigh anything, the need for the full force of gravity is surplus to our requirements.

This side, we can harness many of our forces to benefit our existence, in the same way you have learnt to harness many of yours. When we communicate with you and anyone else on earth, we have to negotiate our way through a number of forces, several that conflict with each other.

For the most part, when someone passes across the divide between the two worlds, they won’t be aware of any changes to them in the forces. It is only after a period of time here that they begin to question certain aspects of life here, and then they become accustomed to the different forces that are new to them.

All of the forces I have become aware of from my time on earth and here in my new world are controlled by the Great Force. You can call this The Divine Force.

So you have been correct in that labelling, but have been incorrect in your understanding of what the great force is. Now you know.

To give you a clue of how many more forces there are than you consider writing, you would have to first appreciate the science, as you call it. Every force is the result of energy at its root. So, energy creates forces. Every thought, every spoken word, every vision are all from forms of energy and therefore create their own unique forces.

Without forces you would have nothing, a state of stagnation. There is no stagnation within any of the Divine’s forces. But although I’m not in the know on this, there are believed to be forces that are at work outside of the area you know as the universe.

No, you are wrong. Evil is not a force outside of the great force. It is an integral part of it. My knowledge does not extend beyond what I know of our two worlds. However, I am studying to understand what we know as alien forces, forces that probably exist outside of our universe. Our current understanding is that these alien forces cannot have any impact on either of our worlds. That, I find of some comfort.

Hello. So you want me to talk to you about what this world we live in is like? Well, that sets me a challenge. You see, many of your great trance mediums have been shown a glimpse of our world. Other people have accidentally been visitors for a short life. I’m referring to those that go into the light because of a medical issue, but are soon returned back to the planet.

Your pages in your reference books all have different versions of life this side. Only yesterday you were reading a reference to the great Swedenborg’s version of life this side.

Let me make things a little clearer for you, though complete clarity is not possible using your own imagination at this time. Every unique soul, every individual that resides in this realm has their own perceptions, often that they have created.

Let me take your own father as an example. When he crossed to this side, he was greeted by those close to him this side. His parents and his friends. For a while, he experienced the new world in the form that they had created.

Eventually, he chose to create his own world using, what your people refer to as, a template. In other words, it was a perceived world already in existence. This is where he created his new home. All of his family and friends this side automatically became part of it. The template, if you like to call it that, wasn’t too dissimilar to one many other souls have chosen, hence it was well established.

Most people choose similar templates that very much mirror their previous life on earth. As you all say, live with what is familiar. Your father worked on his new house, as he would have on earth, but without the backache and labour pains. He created what was to him, a beautiful home with wonderful views.

When your mother passed to this side, your dad was there to greet her, as were all the members of her family. Her brother, Jim, and other siblings all were at hand to help her adjust. Both your mum and dad adjusted very quickly. This was because this new life in this world was without the pain and financial woes of earthbound life.

Your mum chose to live in your father’s new home and their life-long relationship could continue as if they’d never been apart.

All the templates, as we’ve called them for this writing, are interwoven. Anyone can visit any other perceived area. Those that liked to go to pubs on earth can do so here too. Those that choose a more spiritual and solitude life can embrace that way too.

You see, where the earth form of life is known to be three dimensions, here it is multi-dimensional. How that works is something that I would find difficult to explain. The best analogy I can offer is referring to your own dreams where you visit places that are new, often frightening, sometimes beautiful. We all have the freedom of choice this side.

When you consider what I’ve shared with you as a peek into our structure, you can appreciate it’s a lot less complicated that you might have imagined. You’ll discover, when you come here, that keeping life to the three dimensions on earth is what appears difficult.

I hope you enjoyed that insight into our world. But can I leave you with a piece of personal advice? Don’t spend your remaining time on your planet wondering what’s ahead. Instead, appreciate what you have around you. Your time to come here will come in time, as it will for everyone. So in the meantime, like you do with your holidays, don’t wish your time away.

Thank you for starting so quickly for me. I wanted to talk to you about the way people on earth choose to describe aspects of their many religions. Hopefully by the end of our session my sentiments will make some sense.

People on earth have this desire, or even need, to place labels and titles around everything. Of course, I understand that such methods are often a good and sensible way to departmentalise things.

But when it comes to religion, the over edification is quite unnecessary, you know. Humans do this a lot. His or Her Holiness, for example. The Right Reverend, His or Her Majesty, Ma Lord, and so on.

From the Divine, through to Sir or Madam, this human need to attach some title to emphasise someone else’s importance.

It really isn’t necessary. Do you think that if God were to be a person, he or she would not speak to you if you addressed them as, mate, or friend, or buddy? Of course not. God is God, as are all the people that have had glorious titles bestowed upon them. They are, and remain, humans, people, nothing greater.

These titles serve no other purpose than to elevate someone, falsely I might add, beyond their actual status as mere humans. The Divine did not want a class driven society where the Pope cannot eat with the farmer. Or the King cannot shake hands with the seamstress.

Now, I know that some of your readers, including yourself, are confused by what I’m suggesting, so let me elaborate. There is nothing wrong with addressing someone using manners and politeness. In an official capacity, it is only correct that the Sir, or the Lord, the King or the Queen, should be introduced correctly using their respective title. As I said at the beginning of this session, edification is a wonderful ingredient. But so many people go, as you put it, over the top about these titles.

I’ve heard hundreds, no thousands of speakers at churches doing this.

“Thou art so Holy, thine all seeing Divine and powerful God”

Gee, give me a break! Hey, God knows who he is and who you are. Talk to him or her as you would anyone else. Perhaps start your prayers, “Divine, I wish you to hear my words.” He or she will, believe me, and with no less effect than if you’d spent a minute or more giving somewhat false praise to him or her.

I am in no fashion encouraging a lack of manners or respect. Both are valuable qualities a human should hold. I am simply saying, use the titles where necessary and in proportion.

The Divine is all hearing and all seeing. There’s no discrimination because someone addresses the Divine as ‘mate. That might offend a few humans on earth, but it most certainly makes no difference to the Divine.

And if that approach is good enough for the Divine, it should be good enough for everyone else, no matter what title they have come to have. Don’t let talking to the Divine be made hard because you cannot string a load of fancy words together. Just talk, and the Divine will hear. Now I’m sure a few of your readers will be a little surprised by my comments today. Well, there is the lesson!

We don’t go around this place this side worshipping everyone on high. Of course, we appreciate our lives and our opportunities. We hold and show respect to everyone. We just don’t have the need for pointless titles. Everyone of us are mere mortals of the Divine.

There we have it, my food for you to chew on today. I’ve enjoyed this session and really do hope you grasp the deeper message from my words.

Good day to you sir. I wondered if I might talk to you today about the topic of your new podcast that you’re creating. My particular subject would be looking at the congregational side of the issues with your churches.

First I’d like to let you know that we continue to have churches this side as well. Our venues are always full, and we enjoy listening to the wonderful choirs we have, and singing ourselves. We are invited to speak individually if we want to and, believe me when I tell you, the conversations can be rather lively, shall we say!

People on both sides of the veil carry their own opinions on everything in life. Even here, where a collective mind gathering is required for church services, there is always someone that wants to raise a point for debate. But of course, here we don’t have reason to be angry, narked or naughty about anything.

We listen openly to the speakers and learn what we can from them and their points of view. It appears that your earth society have forgotten that their individual opinions are not likely to be in alignment with others. Their opinions are therefore correct or wrong. Yet your society has become aggressive in imposing their points of view on others and responding negatively if others disagree.

This general attitude is because everyone is forgetting to “love thy neighbour”. Do unto others as you would be done to yourself, that’s what I say.

But many of your church-goers aren’t displaying much tolerance and seem to want only the “meat” and not the “potatoes”, as my own dad used to say.

When love is absent in a conversation, be the one that instills it. View aggression and negativity like fires about to break out. Dampen the flames with love. Love wins every time.

Your churches will always contain the people that want to express their opinions. But there will also always be those that want peace, and love, and are happy to live with what they’ve been given. Knowledge is always at the root of such differences amongst mankind.

As you, my medium today, have always preached, each must seek their own truth. I would add to that, but don’t impose it on others. Encourage yes, impress maybe, demand never.

I love our church services here. We have a broader audience, after all, we’ve all lived after the earthly death! Keep learning my friends. Your lives here have only just began and what is ahead of you is richer and more awesome than you could ever imagine.

As you requested, I have given you the sign that I am here with you. Your awareness was excellent and I wondered if the action I took might go unnoticed or assigned by you to a bodily mechanic. Thank you.

That is the topic I’d like to share with you and your readers for this session. I believe other speakers this side might have talked about it in your past, but please allow me the space to share my words. The topic is about appreciating the subtle signs that we use and share with you all on earth to make our presence known.

Too much of the time people turn too quickly to their known science and physics to assimilate an answer as to why an event happens. But you must understand that we are governed to work within your scientific and natural laws when we create a physical connection with you. It is therefore easy to appreciate that our chosen method to connect with you will often be assignable to an earthly event by its very nature.

But when you open your mind and accept that there can be more than one reason something happens, or an event and incident occurs, you open a pathway for our connectivity to you.

Of course, I appreciate that if we send you a feather to confirm a message, it’s quite useless if you’re sat by a bird avery! We do have more common sense than you might give us credit for. We see your world largely as an energy, which we decode. But at times we get it wrong. We always find this rather amusing.

I could share with you many examples of when this has happened to me. Here’s one such incident that occurred recently in your time. I was attempting to communicate through a medium serving in one of your churches. In his mind, he asked me to give him a sign that I was there. I decided to attempt to flicker a table light that was alight and on a table behind the congregation.

As I focused my attention on the light, a member from the church chose to get up and turn it off, right when I was about to! I did manage to switch it back on, to which the person immediately turned it off again. Of course, the medium was too busy in thought to appreciate I’d done that and it had lined up in error with a human interaction.

So my message to you today is simple. When you ask us to give you a sign of our presence, we are usually all too keen to oblige. We do have to work within the framework of your rules though. Open your mind to all possibilities for that subtle sign.

Today, you asked for a sign. I knew where your fingers were and that you allowed me to amplify your natural pulse, so much that you felt it. Thankfully, you were alert and ready to accept it was a result of my actions.

The more you heighten all of your senses, including every event that is happening around you, when you request our intervention, the more likely it is you will accept our initial connection.

Let that be a lesson to all your readers. I’ve enjoyed this opportunity to communicate through your pen. I feel the energy created from the words as you transcribe them. It is very exciting. Thank you so much and please do enjoy the rest of your day.

The freedom of expression is a faculty that all living matter on the planet has access to. The freedom to make choices in every aspect of the life that it has. A plant can choose how it grows and where it clings to. A cat or a dog can choose how they want to react at any given moment. Mankind can choose any expression of life they want and believes suits them most best.

A freedom of expression can be found in many aspects of an individual’s life, from the colour he or she chooses to paint their walls, to the way the person chooses to view the wider world.

Everybody and every living thing is free to make and show their own expression, or more accurately, impression. Today I want to talk to you and your readers about the vocal freedom of expression each of you have.

You are free to say what you want in whatever manner you choose. That is what freedom of expression means. But having that freedom of choice to express something how you want, doesn’t mean you should.

People like to coin the phrase, “free will” around and debate whether free will really is free will, whereas freedom of expression is not up for debate. You can express whatever you want, whenever you choose. No powers can stop that.

But as I’ve said, freedom of expression doesn’t give you carte blanche [corrected misquote] to do so, not if you’re wanting to add to your community’s value and worth. Knowing what to say, and when to say it, is a skill many humans should be adopting more in their lives. You all are aware that even a single word carries with it the power to offend someone else, or to uplift them.

Even when someone asks you a direct question, you have the freedom of expression to answer how you want. But you shouldn’t choose words that don’t uplift or offer some verbal power to the person listening.

All too often in your modern society people are quick to judge others, particularly in a public environment. This is really an abuse of their freedom of expression. To build your life with meaning and purpose, with hope and comfort for others, your freedom of expression should be constantly monitored.

The phrase “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should” should be rewritten to, “ because I can, I will uplift this person”. Make it a life goal to make others worthy, to help others value themselves, to offer words they want to hear, or would like to hear.

The freedom of expression is one of the Divine’s most wonderful gifts to all living subjects. But in using it, the subject shows the Divine the soul of the person using it.

I hope you’ve found my philosophical words today useful and hopefully thought provoking. Remember that as you express to others, so shall you receive such expression back.

Lawrence Savill is the current President of the Poole Christian Spiritualist Church in Dorset (at the time of this summary). Having moved his church to online activities in 2020 during the pandemic, he is a huge advocate for the online Spiritualist experience embracing communities far and beyond the local one.

When the covid pandemic struck the world, Lawry and his team used technology never used by this church before, and possibly the first in the UK, to broadcast via Zoom to the congregation in their homes. This timely intervention gained instant popularity, not just in the local attendees of the church in the immediate area but with other Spiritualists across the country and worldwide that could not visit their churches.

Lawry has character and a wonderful sense of humour, as you will hear in these recordings he made with me in January 2022. Yet Lawry remains devoted to his work with Spirit and his church.
